Jessica Fleischer-Black, MD

Dr. Jessica Fleischer-Black is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She has been in practice in New York City for more than 20 years.

Dr. Fleischer-Black received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed her Emergency Medicine internship and residency at the NYU and Bellevue Hospitals and her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Fleischer-Black is an Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Medical Director of Geriatric and Palliative Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She is passionate about helping patients and their families navigate the health care system to achieve desired outcomes and maximize their quality of life. She specializes in serious illness and geriatric care.
