John F. Wheary, DO, MBA, FACEP

Dr. John Wheary is a board certified emergency medicine physician and seasoned healthcare leader. For more than 25 years, he has created value for patients, families, and communities across the healthcare landscape, with a specific focus on enhancing the patient experience in the emergency department.

Dr. Wheary earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed his internship and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Health Care Systems Management from DeSales University. In addition to working as a physician, he is Director of Emergency Medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He is passionate about community outreach and serves as the medical director for several local Fire Rescue and EMS companies.
