With over two decades of experience as a senior healthcare leader in prominent NYC hospitals including Northwell Health and Mount Sinai Beth Israel, John M. Samuels, MPH, possesses a strong background in curbing risk through comprehensive, multidisciplinary strategies. Overseeing a system that annually impacts nearly 700,000 lives, he effectively managed 16 emergency departments and an extensive urgent care network. His training in FEMA emergency preparation enabled him to orchestrate disaster responses, most notably during the challenges of Hurricane Sandy.
